Voted “Most Creative” in her high school class, Alexa Miller has taken her love of art and photography around the world. She started at Wellesley College and graduated with high honors. While classmates were moving on to places like Wall Street and Law School, Alexa immediately moved out west in order to combine her two great passions: photography & powder skiing. After working as a photo-intern at Powder Magazine, assisting commercial photographers in Los Angeles, she decided to enroll at the Art Center College of Design in order to pursue photography at the highest level. Her technical education and fine art projects have led to awards, galleries, commercial & editorial work shooting fashion and portraits for a wide variety of clients.

A fortuitous event occurred four years ago when a close friend asked a favor: “We can’t afford a wedding photographer, would you considering shooting ours as a gift?” This was a nerve-wracking proposal, but she couldn’t turn down a friend in need and had such a good time that when the next friend asked, she couldn’t resist and thus Alexa Miller Wedding Photography was born!

Now residing in Bozeman, MT, Alexa spends lots of time collecting frequent flier miles between New York and LA, wondering what happened to the on-flight meal and wishing she could have a dog.
