Michele Waite Wedding Photogapher Bio Portrait Meet Michèle

I love weddings - I especially love to see how couples choose to express who they are together in the form of a big party for their friends and family. My goal with every wedding is to provide the couple with the story of their day through artistic-style portraiture and photojournalism. I shoot a variety of films as well as digital that help to show the character of the day, including soft, grainy infrared for a romantic look and cross-processed color for its saturated edgy quality. Because my style is mostly documentary, I like to make the portrait time as short, relaxed and fun as possible while spending the rest of the time, "in the shadows", capturing the real life moments that display the natural energy and style of the new couple.
