Wedding Photogaphers Bio Portrait   About Yves

Yves is a photographer, an artist, and above all, a man with a youthful soul of enthusiasm and creativity. He has an eye for capturing the most beautiful human moments of your life and turning them into dramatic works of art.

"To me, photography is unlike any other art. Cameras and lights are my tools- my subjects are not. Some traditional photographers treat their subjects like paint, or clay, molding them and moving them into poses they choose, images they create.

But when I photograph an event, I want to see the life and joy that exudes out of every smile, every hug, every kiss, every high five, every burst of laughter. I catch those instants because to me, those are where the true memories live.
To arrange people into formal groupings with perfect smiles and poses does require skill, like arranging furniture or flowers, but that is not the only sort of artistry or philosophy I apply to my work. I like to incorporate the element of spontaneity into my craft.

I believe that people photographed when filled with true exuberance, or tenderness... well, that is art brought to life, and life turned to art."
