Alina Prax’s love of the fine arts began as a very small child visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. After graduating college with a degree in Theater/Dance, she moved to Berlin where she lived with acclaimed German pop photographer Mirjam Wahlen, who inspired her to pursue her budding passion for photography. She has trained internationally in New York, Paris and Berlin. Her passion for wedding photography stems from her love of human emotion and the storylines that create the fabric of our lives. She thinks herself an artist and life historian with a camera. Her wedding photography style is a mix of romantic lifestyle and reportage.

"I have a lifetime of experience in the fine arts. My training as a dancer allows me to intuit how my clients will move. This allows me / gives me the ability to capture those spontaneous and pure moments that other photographers often miss. A wedding is very much a tightly choreographed event, just ask any wedding planner. There is everything in a wedding, from the rehearsal to the first dance, that reminds me of a ballet.
