About Maria Scaglione
I take an individual, artistic and photojournalistic approach to personalize your wedding day. I capture on film the excitement of a wedding with an unobtrusive perceptive style.
I spent many years studying art in Europe and New York working with many different mediums such as sculpture, drawing, photography and film. My formal training and my keen eye make my compositions informative and highly personal.
The emotion and details of your wedding day will be captured in a documentary style made personal by your choice of traditional or digital methods, and color or black and white film. I have been photographing professionally for over a decade. I hold a Master of Fine Arts degree from the School of Visual Art in New York City. I reside in Westerly, Rhode Island and I exhibit my work both in this country and abroad. I also work as freelance photographer for the Shore Publishing Community Newspapers.
