Mary’s background is in photojournalism; her passion is the photography of life with in the moment images of people, places and the times of our lives. Life as art – captured.
On weddings Mary writes, “A wedding day is filled with fleeting moments, with great and evolving emotion - from tears of joy to the warmth of laughter. It is a day of treasured memories shared with those who are closest to the bride and groom. As a wedding photographer, I seek layers of documentary images, portraits that are artistic in nature and most importantly what is naturally beautiful.”

Photography Achievements
Mary's images have been published by National Geographic Books and numerous magazines including Mountains Living, Teton Home and in The Knot next spring. Stock photos have been used by many corporations including Macy’s Ford, Microsoft, Disney, Orvis, Tommy Hilfiger, Banana Republic and assignment work has been done for the New York Times. Prints can be found in the Wyoming State Museum, the state capitol building of Wyoming and many private collections.
Mary is a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association and American Society of Media Photographers.
