About Brady
Born in Davenport, Iowa 25-years ago, Brady Dillsworth has spent his entire life honing the craft of photography, quickly becoming one of the most acclaimed wedding photojournalists in the country.
At age 16, Dillsworth began his career as a wedding photographer assisting on the weekends and editing photographs after school; far from glamorous, most days Dillsworth found himself carrying bags, cleaning equipment, editing photos, fulfilling orders and organizing the studio.
After quickly learning the ropes, and while still a teenager, Dillsworth earned the title of second photographer, where, during weddings, he photographed candid moments and additional angles to compliment the primary photographer's focus on the bride and groom.
In the summer following high school graduation, after proving himself to the photographers he worked for and after earning the trust of numerous couples, Dillsworth became a full-fledged associate photographer, meaning that the studios he worked for sent him to photograph weddings on his own, acting as the primary photographer, where he was solely responsible for wedding-day coverage.
Excelling as an associate photographer, Dillsworth opened his own wedding photography studio in Rochester, NY and began booking around two-dozen weddings each year, selling his well defined style of photography known as wedding photojournalism.
In the years following, Dillsworth went on to become close friends of, and official photographer to, the late Manute Bol, 7'7" retired NBA legend, humanitarian and international philanthropist.
Additionally, Dillsworth has traveled the world photographing sports and news stories, particularly for heavyweight boxer "Fast" Eddie Chambers.
Throughout his nine year career, Dillsworth has taken over one million photographs and has documented more than 200-weddings.
From the Photographer: Business Practices
My name is Brady Dillsworth and hundreds of satisfied clients refer to me as the world’s greatest wedding photographer; as a New England photojournalist, I specialize in masterfully capturing the most expressive and meaningful moments from your wedding.
My philosophy is unique in that I do not simply take photos of the event and hand over a disc of thousands of images at the end of the day.
I take a much more active and meaningful role in the storytelling process, where, through tasteful editing, I ensure that every photograph has a purpose and a place. Each image conveys a beautiful moment filled with emotion and meaning, and when expertly arranged along with the 300 best photographs, your wedding story emerges.
With that said, I know how important it is to receive images of all of your guests and details, so in addition to your 300-image wedding story, a disc of every single photograph is delivered several weeks after your wedding.
I limit my coverage to just 20 select events per year, and through unparalleled personal attention paid to every client, your satisfaction is guaranteed. If photography is the most important part of your wedding, I look forward to working with you!
Please enjoy my complete portfolio as well as several full weddings from 2010.
