Meet Daniel

Hi, my name is Dan Lennon and I am the co-owner of Lennon Photo. I jointly run our company with my brother, who primarily heads-up the day to day office workings while leaving the photography to me. I've heard some brides express a concern about who will be their photographer and authenticity of the a studio's web site photos, so let me be clear by saying that all the pictures on our web site are mine and I will be your photographer.

For the past few years I have been shooting wedding, event, portrait and architectural photography and I ran a very small, yet successful photography studio. My brother did the same, focusing on wedding and wildlife photography. Last year, we decided to combine our businesses into LENNONphoto and aggressively advertise our quality and style to engaged couples. We still shoot other types of events, but our primary focus is weddings. In past years, we typically ran under the radar of most brides and did very little marketing to showcase our quality. Now that we are combined into one company we are financially strong and we can better support our efforts by working together. Our company is quickly achieving the success we knew it could. This year alone we are participating in over ten bridal shows and we have steadily increased our advertising budget. At a time when the economy is weak, we are finding success and we are projecting growth for our company.

Hopefully, you're reading this because my pictures have caught your eye. Although, I just went on and on about the history of our business, I feel the most important and an uncompromising ingredient in choosing a photographer is QUALITY. I understand budget constraints and I know that truly "liking" your photographer is very important, but you cannot go back after the wedding has passed and take the pictures again. I think my architectural background is one of the main reasons why I excel at capturing the moment. I develop a shot very quickly in my head by identifying the proper proportions, fill space and identifying who or what I'd like to be the key subject in the picture. Next, I know my camera like the back of my hand and I can very quickly configure the shot. I've seen many other photographers' just click away without thinking about the true meaning of capturing the moment. It's a shame because YOU lose out when your photographers does not understand how to properly and quickly compose the picture.

Number two on the all-time list of "important reasons to choose a photographer" is personality. As with everything we do at LENNONphoto, my brother and I are all about family and family values. One reason why we work together is that we truly enjoy each other and we think that shows through to our clients. We are not the typical arrogant photographer who believes that by-passing politeness is excusable since they are an "ARTIST". Not at LENNONphoto (my mother would never allow it). I believe in saying "excuse me" and "thank you for moving" when I need to get a shot. I would never jump in front of your grandma if she is taking a picture, but I am aggressive enough to get the shots you'd expect from your photographer. At LENNONphoto, we are real people who treat others with respect and politeness, plus I think you'll like us!
