We hesitate to use words alone to describe our work, as so many photographers try to do and fail. Instead, we prefer that you view our portfolio and draw your own conclusions. We don’t follow current trends like the “photojournalistic style.” We like to believe we help set them. This is how we have been shooting weddings since 1991—long before the term/trend popped up. That’s the only way we believe a wedding should be recorded. We prefer to step aside and simply capture everything as it unfolds naturally—true, genuine expressions, emotions and energy.

We use only the best 35mm film equipment Nikon has to offer. We have a number of camera bodies that allow us to use different film speeds, so we can easily cover varying natural lighting conditions. This helps ensure we are always ready. We seldom use a flash, preferring natural light for its richness in tones, color and contrast. We are adept at shooting both black and white and color.
