I just love people. When I was a teenager, instead of watching television, my friends and I went to the mall--not to shop (much), but to sit on benches and watch humanity. I feel really blessed to have developed a skill and a business to surround it that allows me to do what I do. I rarely get asked what makes me different than the other photos in my area, and that surprises me because it is KEY (I think) in why someone would make their choice.
The concept that I consider myself an historian is what makes me unique. One historic day, event, or portrait at a time... I am recording history for a family, an individual, or a business. Drawing out the warmth and emotion through my ease with people is my forte. Waiting patiently and watching, and then CATCHING IT is the most exciting thing for me.
The letters and calls I get from brides, and families telling me that they can feel things through these images, that they actually evoke emotions and memories; as well as the compliment that the client can see the essence of the person or moment... it's my reason for doing what I do.
I believe customer service after the actual technical end of what I do is very important. I want to give what I expect to get - and rarely do, in today's world. ATTENTIVE customer service right to the end. If someone has an issue, I want to know, and be able to care for it so that the client is happy, and shares with others that although something may not have started out so wonderfully, I listened, heard and made things MORE than right. It's the right thing to do, in life and in business. CARE, and prove it start to finish.
