JR Geoffrion is an award-winning Chicago-based wedding photographer specializing in wedding reportage. He prides himself in building intimate relationships with each couple, allowing him to unobtrusively capture spontaneous defining moments with a unique combination of skills and sensitivity — telling the story as you lived and dreamt it would be.

JR’s unparalleled attention to detail does not end with your wedding day photography — which he will personally handle. JR will spend days in his digital darkroom preparing your Exhibit Prints. JR is a member of Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA), Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI), as well as the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

To advance the photography industry, JR also advises the management of cutting-edge software and camera manufacturers on the development of new digital photography technologies as well as beta-test most new software. He is also a sought after speaker on various photography topics including: workflow, technologies, digital darkroom techniques, marketing and promotions, etc.

Prior to full-time wedding photography, JR earned his MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, completed the Wharton School Multi-national Marketing and Management Program, and also holds an Engineering degree from the University of Toronto. He is also a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) as well as Professional Engineer (PEng).

In his spare time, the Montréal native enjoys spending time with his wife Alicemarie and three beautiful children, Jacques-Charles, Natalie-Soleil, and Pierre-Andre.

JR serves the Midwest including Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Columbus, and Cleveland as well as Florida during the winter months. He is also available for destination weddings worldwide throughout the year.
