Richard and Shiyana live in Kailua, Oahu, with their two sons. They have lived in Hawaii for 20 years and are very familiar with the islands. They are always willing to share their expertise of island locations with destination brides.

Richard and Shiyana prefer to shoot outdoors, where the breathtaking Hawaii scenery provides an elegant and natural background for photographs. Outdoor photography also provides an opportunity to take advantage of beautiful lighting conditions.

The advances in digital photography over the last few years have now made it a much more powerful tool than film. Richard and Shiyana now use only digital cameras for wedding photography, using professional quality Canon cameras, which yield image resolution similar to medium format film. They use a variety of lenses and always carry back-up equipment.

Richard and Shiyana carefully edit all photographs for exposure and color. They provide their clients with discs containing the high-resolution digital images so that they can make as many prints of their wedding photographs as they wish. They can also create DVD photo slideshows set to music.
