Meet Eric Delaforce

At 41, Eric Delaforce has been producing beautiful photographs of women and men for 25 years in the professional arena.

Eric's first part time job was printing black and white prints for a wedding photographer in South Georgia when he was sixteen. Eric moved to Miami at eighteen and became an apprentice photographer for Avanti Press Advertising, using large format view cameras to create still life product ad's until he joined the Navy at age twenty-one. Eric traveled extensively in the Navy, photographing people and places in seventeen countries around the world. Eric served as an intelligence photographer until honorably discharged from the Navy after fours years of service.

Eric achieved a degree in photography from the Art Institute of Philadelphia in 1992, graduating with honors. This unique, in depth program of education lasted for two years of full time, five days per week, eight hours per day education involving every aspect of photography. This included what was then brand new Adobe Photoshop software, the technology that opened up the world of digital photography.

Eric spent 1992 until 1997 shooting fashion and apprenticing under world class fashion photographers in New York and Miami Beach.

Eric is a member of Professional Photographers of America and attends conventions and workshops to constantly grow and learn as the ever changing world of wedding photography grows and changes.

The Union of Two

After taking a two year sabbatical and getting married to his beautiful wife Adrienne, Eric approached wedding photography with a fever. Eric incorporates the story telling aspects of fashion photography with his timeless sense of lighting and style to take his wedding and bridal photography craft to the highest level.

Since 1999 Eric and Adrienne have photographed several hundred weddings and bridals in Georgia. They have also been flown worldwide to locations including Sydney, New York, Miami Beach, St. Louis, Las Vegas, San Louis Obispo CA, San Francisco, and will be shooting an incredible wedding at the Ritz Carlton, Maui this coming June.

Eric and Adrienne work closely with each Bride and Groom to find out what is important to YOU about your wedding photography. Their goal is simple: you feel the same emotions when you look back at your photographs in ten years. The ability to create works of art such as this comes only through years of tremendous effort, education, and selfless dedication to craft.

Eric and Adrienne use Cannon professional camera's and lighting, as well as Elinchrome Swiss made strobe lights with large soft boxes and grids to create their classic style. Eric has been greatly inspired by such classic photographers as George Hurrell, Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, and Joe Buissink.
