Photography has always been a great passion for
Tere Schubert. She began as a young alchemist working in black and white photography while studying at the Chelsea Westminster Institute of Photography in London in the 70's. After graduating she traveled through Europe and later on to South America, where she established as a professional photographer. For the next 25 years, she worked and experimented with all aspects of her trade, including complex laboratory techniques like color separation using black and white negative. She worked as a commercial photographer for transnational corporations AGA Venezolana, PEPSI. She produced artist photographs for Theater Company and several art galleries. She covered social events for newspaper, in addition to weddings and graduations.
She was a professor for several years at the Scientific Police Institute in Caracas Venezuela where she taught lab, scientific, forensic and action photography.
Wedding Photography Achievements
She participated in dozens of seminars and conventions through out Latina America and US, learning from the experts and teaching the emerging generations of young photographers. Her work has been published in magazines : The Knot Wedding Pages, Delaware Today, Philadelphia Inquires, foreign magazines including Variedades and Amateur Photographers.
