R.E.PhotoDesign LLC started in July of 2003 and is located within the photographers home office in Milford, CT. Photographer Richard Esposito is a national award winning photojournalist specializing in wedding photography. He’s a member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association and Wedding & Portrait Photographers International. Because of high demand, Richard limits the amount of weddings he does per year so that he can give full effort to the ones that he does. With so many satisfied clients referring R.E.PhotoDesign LLC to their friends, Richard does very little advertising and contracts more weddings than the average photographer. Richard is also very knowledgeable when it comes to camera and computer technology. He always has the latest equipment and software, and he knows how to use it.

Richard Esposito is originally from East Haven, Connecticut. Educated in the field of Broadcast Communications and Engineering, Richard started his career as a video editor for WTNH, News Channel 8, in New Haven, CT. In late 2001 Richard took a position with WHDH-TV, NBC 7 News, Boston. He quickly became the Special Projects Avid Editor editing feature stories that have aired in Boston and throughout the US. In 2003 he won an Emmy for his work as a feature story editor, and was credited with 3 more.

During his time in Boston, Richard expanded on his photography hobby and started doing some work as a photographer. He was asked to do weddings with a local photography company, started doing natural setting portraits, and was displaying and selling his fine art collection. He soon joined a local art association where in his first gallery member showing he took 2nd and 3rd place in photography.

One thing Richard's clients like is that he is not a trained photographer. No one told him how to photograph or how to create his style. Photography is natural to Richard. He even started R.E. Photo Design without knowing what other photographers were offering. He simply asked himself: In these times, what would I want and how would I want it? and is it the best available technology and product? That's what I want to offer.

Wedding Photography Achievements

In June of 2003 Richard decided to leave the news business and return back to CT to start R.E.PhotoDesign LLC as his own full time business. Since then, Richard has received awards and recognition at local, national, and international levels and his work has been recognized in competition with his peers. Richard was one of 14 photographers chosen from around the world to have his fine art photography represented by the Agora Gallery in New York City for the entire year of 2004. He is now a proud member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association, Wedding & Portrait Photographers International, and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
