Photo-Mia is a photography and design studio specializing in 35mm film and digital imagery, hand bound photo albums, and custom letterpress and screen printed invitations. The studio has been in operation since 2002 and has earned an excellent reputation for its spirited photography and individualized album designs. The photograph is used as a means of creative visual storytelling, a special document that will serve as a reminder of who was present and what took place at your event. All events are approached as being unique, and the studio creates hand bound photo albums to house and protect images that will be passed down for generations.

Mia Semingson's formal training is primarily as a visual artist. In 1998 she received her MFA in photography and electronic media from the University of Colorado, Boulder where she currently teaches photography in the Department of Fine Arts and the Division of Continuing Education. Mia has been a professional artist and educator since 1996.

Mia's artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally and has been acquired by permanent collections at the University of Colorado at Boulder; the University of Maryland, Baltimore County; Instituto de Artes de Medellin, Colombia; Photo Americas; Lake Forest College; Qwest; and many private collections across the country.
