Wedding photojournalists Grant and Linda Oakes have been commissioned to document weddings from coast to coast but call the Colorado Rockies their home. Their style captures and preserves the feeling and emotions of your wedding day in such a way that future generations can experience it too. Grant and Linda Oakes, both being international award winning photographers, are the proprietors of this studio. Grants' photographic career began back in 1977, shooting weddings for family and friends.

By the mid 90's he wanted to grow and pursue it more seriously. After attending seminars by some of the top photographers in the country he felt that this was where his true passion was. What he enjoys most about this profession is that you're dealing with people on a level that touches them in a tangible way, emotionally.

In the late 90's Linda left her career in the medical profession after assisting Grant with a wedding and found a new lease on life as a photographer. She has joined her husband by enrolling in various photography organizations to improve her craft. She has had the honor of having some of her work published in a feature article in a national photography magazine. Her goal is to continue to grow and work toward excellence.

Photography Achievements

Grant has also conducted seminars across the nation, instructing well over 100 photographers on the technical aspects of digital capture. In May of 2004 he was selected to speak at a national photography convention in San Diego and to share his knowledge and experience with his peers.
