Adobe Photoshop CS5 giveawayAdobe Photoshop CS5 software assists you to create the images for web, print, and video with extensive performance and 64-bit OS support. This release carries a wide range of new features with a focus on digital photography, lens correction, and post-production processing.

If you a startup photographer, a photography hobbyist on a budget, or a student, you may enter the Adobe Photoshop CS5 Monthly Giveaway, part of the WPD Support the Arts Program.

To qualify for our monthly entry, you must be one of the following:

Adobe Photoshop CS5 Photography Related Highlights

  1. Automated Camera Lens Correction

    • Photoshop CS5 now provides correction for the following three type of common lens capture photo errors: chromatic aberration, geometric distortion and vignetting. Photoshop CS5 uses an image file's EXIF data to make adjustments based on the camera and lens type. Further fine-tuning can be achieved with the Lens Profile Creator, which you can create custom profiles to overwrite the optical aberrations of your camera lenses.

  2. Enhanced HDR Pro Imaging

    • Source Files Alignment
      HDR Pro offers extended controls and improved image processing. New algorithms allows accurate alignment of source files. Deghost is now down automatically deghost when trying to merge source photos where subjects have moved during capture.

    • Multi-Exposure Presets
      With more creative control, you may define multiple exposure settings for a single high dynamic range (HDR) photo

  3. Improved Black and White Conversion

    • You may now use the Lab Black & White Technique action from the Default Actions group for an easy and interactive way to convert color images. Experiment with new preset or define your own. Create HDR black-and-white photos with greater precision and flexibility by using the new features in HDR Pro.

  4. New Photoshop Camera Raw 6

    • Using the non-destructive photo adjuster to remove image noise while preserving color and detail. Add grain to make digital photos look more organic with an expanded support for over 275 camera models.

  5. Edge-Detection Selection Creation

    • New intelligent selection offers faster and more precise edge detection to extract subjects from backgrounds. Automatic color decontamination and tolerance settings allows you to eliminate background. The Refine Radius and Erase Refinements tools fine-tunes your masks and selections.

  6. Tighter Integration with Adobe Bridge

    • A compact version of Adobe Mini Bridge is now included natively inside Photoshop as a independent panel.
