"As a professional photographer, I personally do not feel gender is a key to this type of photography. A professional must be able to capture the subject, convey the mood, while having the trust of the cleint regardless of the photographers gender. Bridal Boudior certainly adds volumes to any clients photographs and should be considered. Brides, step out and trust your photographer to capture a moment rarely seen. - Dan Barnard"

"I think JR Geoffrion also does boudoir photography. He's listed on this site in Illinois. He's very pricy though. I saw some boudoir samples from his web site. But than again, if your photographer is close, doing boudoir at an hourly rate might not be bad. How much time you really need for a session?"

"I've found a few good ones, but unless you are willing to pay for the extra traveling fees and higher price to hire someone from accross the country, you might be limiting your options. "

"OK, so if there is a listing, then what kind of qualifications can one make? Boudoir photography referral and credibility checking could be tricky."

"I am dead-set on doing this for my future husband, but I am having so much difficulty finding a credible boudoir photographer in Maryland. It would be nice if there were a listing or referal route!"
