Watermark - An embedded graphic in paper or a digital image that is typically used as a security or copyright precaution.
Wavelet Compression - In this type of compression the whole entire image is compressed instead of dealing with it by small pieces of 8 x 8 pixels.
White Balance - This is a calibration method employed by the camera to compensate for the differences in color temperature of surrounding light.
Wide-Angle - The distance from the lens to the film on a camera of this type is shorter than normal. As the lens is more wide, the field of view is increased.
