Gamma - If you graph the values of colors from black to white you get a nonlinear arch. Gamma is the halfway point in the center between white and black.
Gamut - Also called color gamut or color space. Complete subset of colors.
Gels - Plastic that can be put in front of a light for colored lighting effects.
GIF - A image format that has a maximum of 256 colors, introduced by CompuServe in 1987.
GPS - A satellite navigation system, utilizing over two dozen satellites orbiting earth. GPS information could be embeded into digital images such as JPG, BMP, TIFF, and other commonly used professional and consumer electronic photography & video products.
Grayscale - This is basically a black and white picture where different shades of gray are used for the image.
Group - Different elements in a lens.
