4. Chi Pritchard (This Entry's WPD Contestant) - (4/2/2009 9:04:02 PM) I guess I would have to rely on the bride and grooms response to this photo and not the 'professional's' response because I've had nothing but possitive feedback from clients on this photo. Yes it is a simple Lightroom application but compared to some of the extreme measures taken on a lot of the photos I see in this contest, I guess I'm just a simple girl. ~ Chi
3. Oasis - (4/2/2009 7:03:03 PM) Uh.... Just my thoughts here. I think the public is misconstruding the meaning of VOTES. If you look at the description next to the votes, it saids it's the COMBINED SCORE that counts. Since there's three sliders for each category, with each up to a rating of 10 points, it's safe to say you could vote scores in the range of 1 to 30 (or in the proportion of it). So 100 votes of 1 point is not as good of 4 votes of 30 points. Not all votes are equal.
2. Anonymous - (4/1/2009 9:05:57 PM) I agree. I find it strange that this image has received so many votes. It's just a blue filter application. I find it amazing how PS actions and processing have become the new qualification for a successful image instead of the actual image itself. This doesn't make the cut for me either as far as professional execution.
1. Sam Chinigo (WPD Member Contestant, Previous Best Commentator) - (4/1/2009 3:18:25 PM) I'm sorry Chi, but I am not sure why this image made the cut. It is not creative and doesn't evoke a response/emotion from the viewer.
