2. B.Wright - (5/10/2009 3:44:26 AM) There is nothing good to be said about this shot. Honestly, I don't know how it made the cut. The color is awful, the motion blur should make this one an outtake, and there is absolutely no subject matter. Just lens flair and the frustration of not knowing what there is to see if anything at all. If I could give this all 0s I would. I'm sorry, but there is no explanation for all the votes on this and virtually no critique. Maybe no one knows where to start. Something is seriously wrong with this picture.
1. Anonymous - (4/12/2009 3:30:15 PM) This story in the image is totally lost with the back-lighting. Interesting colors provided by the DJ lighting, but the action going on here is overwhelmed by the light. I find this to be a common problem with many photographers gravitating to trendy lens-flair and other back-lit shots which have been very much overdone with wedding photography. There are at least 10 such shots in this contest. I personally don't like it, but it can be done well sometimes, but this one just doesn't work well for my eye.
