The farmers might as well be her parents or brides maids. Why not put the bride to work with the barn rake, and have one of the farmers hold the bouquet or something? I don't know, but there is something rather generic about this which kind of makes it not such an unusual image as perhaps the photographer might have hoped.

Caroline Ghetes (WPD Member, This Entry's Contestant) - (4/2/2009 8:41:35 PM) I love this quote: "My painting is visible images which conceal nothing; they evoke mystery and, indeed, when one sees one of my pictures, one asks oneself this simple question 'What does that mean'? It does not mean anything, because mystery means nothing either, it is unknowable." -René Magritte A lot of the time, I just like creating images that create confusion for absolutely no reason at all. David, you hit it right on the head ; ) Thank you!
4. Daniel - (4/2/2009 6:48:51 PM) There's certainly many ways you could decide for the meaning. For example, why is the man on the left holding a finger out of his pocket! If it makes you think, or make you think over nothing, then it is art.

2. Caroline Ghetes (WPD Member, This Entry's Contestant) - (4/2/2009 1:00:51 PM) I think that is probably the point of this photo. That there is no point. Just confusion, and thought provoking, and maybe injected with a little bit of humor ; )
