Keep up with the beautiful colors...this is why you are finalist in a creative wedding contest, because you idea and use of color is different and creative! Beautiful! All 10's from me!

Take a look at Andy Wood and Elizabeth Russell's entries. Their images show a very dramatic sky. And although they may have worked on them a bit in photoshop, it's believable. A dramatic effect to the sky can be achieved without making it so harshly overprocessed. Your images would have greater impact when you ease up off the photoshop, especially in that sky. Too much attention is taken away from the couple when our eyes are so drawn to the sky.

I think the sky and the coloring is what makes the photo pop. Keep doing what your doing with the vibrant colors. It makes the photo so much more exciting. You recieved all 10's from me.

I love the color in this shot, and after looking through the photographers portfolio - you can tell that bright, vibrant colors are most certinaly her calling card. It's nice to see someone who does things differently... great story about the shot too, so romantic! Great job, all 10's!

It's a nice engagement shot. Although I've seen this done many times. But the burning in of the sky is just waaaaay too overdone for my taste.

Agree, the sky in this shot looks the same as the other Bride Pool shot. Although it does provide a great contrast, I'm wondering if the photographer has gotten too attached to this color tone, or a particular photoshop filter.

I love the shot but again, the sky is way over-processed and could have done without.

This image was taken in Historic Downtown Galena, IL during an actual Proposal. The groom-to-be called me about a month in advance and asked me if I would follow him and his girlfriend around town, secretly, capturing the intimate moment when he got down on one knee and she screamed YES! After the proposal we walked around town and shot their Engagement Session - I swear, she looked at her new ring more than the camera :)
