8. Anonymous - (12/9/2009 5:38:01 PM) love this ttd idea
7. Anonymous - (11/5/2009 2:31:24 PM) very creative! :) Interesting concept.
6. Ted76 - (11/5/2009 10:54:52 AM) Awesome concept and angle! Got my top votes for creativity. However low score for Color & Lighting (I voted 10, 10, 4). The green hue of the photo is great, especially how it falls into the bottom of the pool and the green diffusion of the shadow below the bride's dress. The sky needs to be green as well to agree with the law of light and optic, which is why even though the sky is stylish, it's out of place compare to the rest of the composition.
5. ChadJackson - (11/5/2009 10:40:35 AM) Chipping in the subject of the sky, the light glow hue on the left corner is not necessary, and there's a little bit of visible tree top on the right lower corner, which should be removed. That being said..... this is a great shot and original concept. If the sky was left natural or toned down, this shot would have been perfect. To respond to #4 Caroline's comment on wishing to see the bride's face, I disagree. I feel leaving the face hidden is part of the "humor" of this shot.
4. Caroline Ghetes (WPD Member, Contestant) - (11/4/2009 9:10:13 PM) I agree! Very original shot however, I would have liked to see a full or partial shot of the brides face, but the sky definitely looks over-processed. Could have one with it.
3. Anonymous - (11/4/2009 3:13:59 PM) Tell me how having sky in a photograph is bad technique?
2. Anonymous - (11/4/2009 12:01:19 PM) Why ruin a good idea with bad technique? .... the sky !!!
1. Nicole Koester (This Photo's Contestant) - (11/3/2009 10:46:29 PM) Trash the Dress Session of the Bride laying inside a slide at the Public Pool - we ended the shoot with her jumping off the diving board :)
