It's amazing on the work and complexity a shot can require, sometimes it's hard to judge that by simply looking at it. In today's digital age, anything that looks out of the ordinary would draw a quick conslusion, "Oh, that's photoshopped". But once in a BLUE MOON we can blown away by raw techniques!

8. Richard Esposito (WPD Member, This Entry's Photographer) - (4/3/2008 11:12:39 AM) The blur inside the heart is my hand. The sparkler lit it up just enough. I think I need some black gloves.
7. Anonymous - (3/30/2008 11:45:20 PM) is the blur along the inside of the heart someone's hands?
6. Eve Wedding Photography (WPD Member) - (3/6/2008 9:56:23 AM) AMAZING PICTURE!!!!!
5. Richard Esposito (WPD Member, This Entry's Photographer) - (3/5/2008 1:29:06 PM) Funny you should ask, I just spoke about the image to a class of students. Go to my blog and look for the Off To School post.

3. Artistic Images by Sam Chinigo (WPD Member & Contestant) - (3/3/2008 8:34:52 PM) I love this shot Rich! I am interested to know how someone got in there and sparkled the heart without showing up as a blur somewhere in the image. Do tell. I would have thought you would have had to PS it to clean it up. Tell me, tell me! ;-)
2. Richard Esposito (WPD Member, This Entry's Photographer) - (3/3/2008 12:54:21 PM) This is the shot directly from the camera, no photoshop work has been done to it.
