10. Sam Chinigo (WPD Member & Contestant) - (8/24/2008 2:52:07 PM) Beautiful execution. The tree on the left bother me, but other than that..very strong.
9. Shutter453 - (8/22/2008 8:31:48 AM) Perfect execution, my favorite for the competition so far!
8. Holly Steen (WPD Member & Contestant) - (8/4/2008 12:18:05 PM) Beautiful work. You used your second light to your advantage. I think that this is a perfect example on how wedding photography can be used in an editorial light. (little pun intended)
7. Anonymous - (8/1/2008 9:43:04 PM) This affects me deeply, in that I don't think there's a more beautiful place than the beach/coast for a wedding ceremony. This captures the entire essence and allows you to fill in the events as you would want them to happen. Thanks to Mr. Hacker for his talent.
6. CATHRINE - (7/31/2008 4:55:36 PM) I believe that the landscapes beauty matches her feelings, as her positioning posture shows. The lighting emulated the background and filed in the sky with even more mood a dynamic winner for certain. Gorgeous.
5. Caroline Ghetes (WPD Member & Contestant) - (7/28/2008 10:22:53 PM) This is a breathtaking photo, and though the light from behind her adds a lot of drama, it just seems a bit unnatural to me and a little bit distracting as well. Very nice photo otherwise!
4. Anonymous - (7/28/2008 7:13:08 PM) Absolutely breathtaking, brilliant concept and execution, love the back light. The bride's pose with her looking out to sea is simply perfect.
3. Jake113 - (7/28/2008 6:10:23 PM) I LOVE this shot, the tree is literally "speaking" to the bride. The only quesiton I have is if there's a manual light placed behind the bride, as the glow behind her doesn't look natural, but netherless appropriate and a good touch.
2. Dario Impini Photography (WPD Member) - (7/28/2008 9:55:33 AM) Yes, echoing prior sentiment, the pose mirroring the tree is awesome. Dont know if your fence "flare" was intentional, but it certainly adds drama and focus on the bride. Fantastic shot.
1. Brenda - (7/27/2008 2:12:25 PM) Wonderful composition, unique and controlled lighting . What really wows me is the brides pose in combination with the other elements of the image. The picture evokes emotion successfully presenting the vision of the photographer to the viewer.
