Votes Received Votes were collected during the public voting phase of the contest. All votes were validated by the WPD. However, each vote is not equal; as winners were determined by combining Scores from all votes.
4. Sam Chinigo (WPD Member & Contestant) - (8/24/2008 2:36:36 PM) I have a shot similar to this actually. This shot could have been improved by getting more of their bodies in the shot. And the sky has no interest. Try it again under better circumstances.
3. Holly Steen (WPD Member & Contestant) - (7/31/2008 3:09:27 PM) I can appreciate the photographer trying to give the client something different, but this misses the mark a little for me. I think that I need something a little more in color, texture or contrast. If this was photojournalistic shot, kudos for catching the moment. But if you were able to pose them and stylize the photo, then I wish that you moved his hand down, or perhaps have her lean into him more. Her leg is a bit distracting, and considering the empty canvas it is right where the viewer is going to look, after the arm choking her.
2. Caroline Ghetes (WPD Member & Contestant) - (7/28/2008 10:11:06 PM) Though I have seen this done many times before, I always enjoy these shots. The composition and lighting was done very well on this shot, and I am sure the lovely couples appreciates this photo.
