3. Sam Chinigo (WPD Member & Contestant) - (8/24/2008 2:32:19 PM) Yeah, this one falls a little short for me too Holly. There is a lot going on in the composition and I am not sure what to focus on. My eye keeps wandering all around. IT may be because there are so many details in the shoes themselves though. Not sure.
2. Holly Steen (WPD Member & Contestant) - (7/31/2008 3:15:37 PM) This shot is interesting and a little confusing. I think that the composition is a little muttled, and the framing. The details of the shoes are missed, and I can see that there is really no true detail at all. The brand of the shoe is covered, and the details of the sparkle is dull. I love details shots, and this one.. fell short of detail.
1. Caroline Ghetes (WPD Member & Contestant) - (7/28/2008 10:08:02 PM) I really do not consider detail shots to be creative in general. The only time I find a detail shot as being creative, is when it is captured in its natural position, and has some sort of story behind it. I really do like this shot though, and I love the details on the sandals. The lighting is also very nice!
