8. Stephanie Lin - (10/8/2008 11:39:11 PM) The negative space in between the couples' bodies happens to form an infinity symbol, which reflects their lifelong commitment to one another. My fiance and I are looking forward to having Kevin Jacobus capture one-of-a-kind fleeting moments like this at our own engagement session and wedding!
7. Sam Chinigo (WPD Member & Contestant) - (8/24/2008 2:28:57 PM) Very nice composition. The truck in the background keeps drawing me back to it. Simple fix tough. Nice image.
6. Caroline Ghetes (WPD Member & This Entry's Photographer) - (8/3/2008 12:24:03 AM) My bad, Kevin : ) Great Photo!
5. Holly Steen (WPD Member & Contestant) - (7/31/2008 3:17:06 PM) I think that more photographers should take advantage of monochrome with color hues. The purple/blue is a nice tone. The framing of the tree is perfect. I think this is a nice engagement shot. I am sure your clients were happy with the wedding photos too.
4. Kevin Jacobus (WPD Member & This Entry's Photographer) - (7/30/2008 10:24:40 PM) Hey Caroline, Thanks for the feedback. As far as the photo not being a wedding photo-- it's actually from an engagement portrait session for an upcoming wedding. The contest rules do not prohibit photographs from engagement sessions, which of course are a substantial part of the wedding photography business too.
3. Anonymous - (7/30/2008 10:17:57 PM) I wish it was a closer view so we could actually make out the couple's faces. Nice concept though.
2. Caroline Ghetes (WPD Member & Contestant) - (7/28/2008 10:03:11 PM) I like that the large branch at the top of the photo seems to add itself as a nice frame to this particular photo. Very nicely composed and the lighting is wonderful. One thing tough, how is this in the contest since it isn't even a wedding photo? I thought this was a wedding photography website?
