6. Sam Chinigo (WPD Member & Contestant) - (8/24/2008 12:53:56 PM) I Love this image Caroline! Fresh! Love the lighting, color, concept, composition. Well done. The work of an artist..not a photographer. Keep up the good work.
5. Shutter453 - (8/22/2008 8:31:00 AM) This photo is fun, and reminds me of the style of indie films; much left for the viewer's interpretation. Unfortunately the majority of the American audience don't like to think to explorer "hinted" ideas, which is why although a great photo, I'm not sure this one will make it to the top.
4. Holly Steen (WPD Member & Contestant) - (7/31/2008 3:34:07 PM) Sun flare, an abandon couch, and a spriting couple. I think it tells an excellent creative story. The tones and the contrast are excellent. I like that I have to wonder where the couch came from... I think it allows a more interesting photo than having it all spelled out in front of you. Thanks for the fun shot!
3. Caroline Ghetes (WPD Member & This Entry's Photographer) - (7/30/2008 9:34:10 AM) If they are too "creative" and "strange", then I am happy to hear it because it means that I did what I wanted these photos to do- provoke thought and all sorts of feelings. Thanks for your critiques, everyone! : )
2. Anna Lee - (7/29/2008 4:48:02 PM) Caroline's two entries are little too creative/strange for my taste, but I like the lighting in this photo. I think I would have liked it better if the couple were sitting on the couch as opposed to running away.
1. Anonymous - (7/28/2008 8:35:52 PM) I often wonder about the length photographers go through to execute a great concept. For example, was this couch moved from a truck, or this is an outside receptions happens to be near the mountains? Creative and funny!
