Votes Received Votes were collected during the public voting phase of the contest. All votes were validated by the WPD. However, each vote is not equal; as winners were determined by combining Scores from all votes.
3. Sam Chinigo (WPD Member & Contestant) - (8/24/2008 12:44:50 PM) Average. If you attempt this shot again, try positioning the subjects better and use camera tilt to make the lines more interesting.
2. Holly Steen (WPD Member & Contestant) - (7/31/2008 3:39:21 PM) I think that ths must be a "had to been there" shot. I can't tell from the environment what is so interesting. I am going to pretend that this is a "first kiss" moment and that is why the photographer submitted it. The composition is simple, the couple is straight, and the shot is exposed alright. I would of liked to see more .. creativity.
1. Caroline Ghetes (WPD Member & Contestant) - (7/28/2008 9:49:03 PM) This is a very typical photo, and not very creative. However if the camera was tilted a little more to make the lines completely straight and then if the bride and groom would have been centered directly in the middle of the square, overall creating dramatic lines throughout, then I think this would have made for a very interesting photo.
