8. Anonymous - (8/9/2008 7:44:37 AM) The loosely held hands depicts a sense of tranquility and confidence. The couple is comfortable with each other, the groom looking ahead toward the future, the bride dreaming of it.
7. Anonymous - (8/6/2008 11:25:50 AM) This is so great! I wish we had a photo like this from my wedding. Perfect!
6. Troy Photography (WPD Member & Contestant) - (8/6/2008 1:15:23 AM) I was so happy when I took the picture because her eyes are closed and she appears lost in the moment of reaching out. It felt to me like she was reaching out blindly for the touch of his hand. As such, the downward angle of her face did not ruin the image for me. If she had her eyes open and on the camera, however, it would certainly have ruined it for me. Although it would be more dramatic, I think I would not have liked it as much if she were looking over at the groom or out of the picture as the photograph would be without the sensitivity of her expression. Perhaps it would also have seemed a little forced and overly symmetrical. Noel Troy

4. Anonymous - (7/28/2008 8:36:49 PM) I have to say I agree with #2's comment. I wouldn't have caught it if #2 didn't bring it up. This photo is near perfect.
3. Caroline Ghetes (WPD Member & Contestant) - (7/28/2008 7:03:29 PM) I love how surreal this photo seems. The darkness of the clouds and the composition of this photo is excellent! I love this shot. Wonderful job!
2. Anonymous - (7/28/2008 12:02:19 PM) I wish the bride wasn't looking down...either out as the groom is or both at each other.
