Amidst all the chaos (which I think somehow chaos is represented by graffiti), the groom stoops down to serve his bride... it's tender and sweet.

Anonymous - (8/14/2007 10:10:54 AM) don't confuse arbitrary shots and strange camera angles with the art and craft of photojournalism. pj isn't about recording banal moments of passing, it's about one instance that tells a story that communicates visually without compromise or confusion. this is a boring moment and doesn't exhibit anything redeeming necessarily about the photographer's skill or eye for instance or nuance. there is no story here.

1. Anonymous - (8/1/2007 4:13:51 PM) I guess I'm not sure the "purpose" of this shot. Maybe it is the creativity aspect? And yet, to me, it looks like the groom is attempting to fix something of the bride's dress at knee level, without perhaps realizing there is what appears to be a more serious wardrobe malfunction near the bust line of the dress?? Maybe it is just the angle of the camera... If that is what happened, and I was the photographer, I wouldn't have taken the shot.
